♥ Unforgettable Wedding Reception ♥

My wedding stories continued with the wedding reception which hosted at Grand Palace Restaurant, Pavilion. It was a wonderful evening, we managed to gather everyone of our family members, friends, schoolmates, colleagues together to celebrate and toast for our marriage ^^

Yes! We've made the right choice of the restaurant! Nice ambiance and suitable place if you plan to host for small-medium size wedding reception. Me and hubby are so satisfied with their service and offer as well.

Photobucket
The entrance.....

Photobucket
Nice environment, isn't it?

Photobucket
The Menu.....

Photobucket
The complimentary chocolates by the restaurant for our guests =)

Photobucket
We prepared the wedding favor for our guests as a token of appreciation - it was the chopsticks by meaning of "united two" =) Fyi, we bought 300 pairs of these nice chopsticks all the way from our Hang Zhou trip last year :P

Photobucket
We also hired 2 musicians to perform in our wedding. 1 guitarist and 1 keyboard player. Both of them sing very well during that evening. My guests enjoyed a lot and gave me a lot of good feedback as well.

Photobucket
Nice settings by the restaurant.....

Photobucket
And this is our wedding cake custom made by BigBoysOven, simple and nice design =)

Photobucket
The settings for the VIP table.....

Photobucket
The reception wouldn't be so perfect without the help from our "hengdais" and "jimuis".... a credit for them =)

Photobucket
Thanks to our friend - CN for being our videographer for the whole evening!

Photobucket
The wishes from our guest....thank you!!

Photobucket
The tea ceremony session continued at the restaurant as some of our relatives not managed to join for the morning session. Thanks to my 2 "dai kam low" for the special assistance!

Photobucket
Special thanks to all my cousins who purposely traveled up from Singapore. I am truly touched and excited~

Photobucket
Happy face from my lovely cousin sister =)

Photobucket
Okay! Time for some touch-up as the dinner is going to begin soon~

Photobucket
My photographer captured this moment~ Hehe.....

Photobucket
We are ready for the 1st march-in =)

Photobucket
We felt a bit of nervous during the march-in, hehehe.....But the overall feeling was superb, felt like a superstar =) Our 1st march-in song: "This I Promise You" by Ronan Keating ^^

Photobucket
Phew~ Settled down and let's have a picture first! =)

Photobucket
Dinner was being served and my musicians began with their performance.....

Photobucket
Sam Ooi - my emcee cum guitarist cum singer =) Very talented, thumbs up for his performance!!

Photobucket
Bell Foo - sweet and young talented keyboard player cum singer. My guest felt so "lam" with her sweet voice as well =)

Photobucket
After the 2nd dish served, I went off to change my 2nd gown, it was a designer gown from D&L (by Touch Wedding). I like this gown very much, very colorful and blink, it suits my character very well =) Hubby and I posing again before the 2nd march-in =)

Photobucket
Here we are again! This time, I can hear the applauses are as loud as the 1st march-in =) *happy* Our march-in song: "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars ^^

Photobucket
We went up straight to the stage and perform the cake cutting ceremony.....

Photobucket
Followed by the champagne opening....

Photobucket
Our wedding toast - very happening, and all our guest are super sporting!!

Photobucket
All the smiling faces......huhu~

Photobucket
S.M.I.L.E vs L.A.U.G.H =)

Photobucket
My cute niece want to have a taste of the champagne too (it's sparkling juice anyway....hehe!)

Photobucket
Continue the toasting with our guests =) "Yum~~~~~~~~~ Seng~~~~~~~~"

Photobucket
The dinner was ended around 11pm.....

Photobucket
"Thanks for Coming~" =)

Photobucket
It's time for some group photos ^^ Our family members (hubby side).

Photobucket
Another one - family members (my side).

Photobucket
Of course, with my mum!

Photobucket
And not forgotten, my piggy gang!! =)

Hubby and I agreed that our wedding is the MOST Happening one so far ^^ Everyone being so supportive, helpful and sporting. There's no "冷场" (dull scene?) at all....Anyhow, it's 1 year long planning for our big day, and people feel it and see it as a very successful and memorable ceremony. We felt so proud of ourself and everyone of our guest!!! =)

More pictures, click on Part I and Part II.

Now, hubby and I back to our relax time, house reno done, wedding done! It's time to prepare for CNY celebration, and this year we going to give Double Ang Pao! Hehehe~ Oh ya, another thing in our to-do list - it's the HONEYMOON!!! Can't wait for the upcoming trip in Apr'2011! Yokoso! Japan, here I come!!! =)

The bonus point of having a wedding dinner reception at a Chinese restaurant is having better food...versus having it at a hotel.
